I'm Pathetic!

Namma Sharlene, Papa, and Aunt Amy braved the suckiest drive ever and visited us this past weekend. We had such a great time! We mostly ate and visited. It was wonderful! We sure do miss them bunches and can't wait to see them again. The reason I'm pathetic: I remembered to take one picture the entire time and it turned out horrible! So, the pics with this blog are of M and B preparing for their visit. M wanted to make them cookies.

Thanks so much for coming! We needed the visit!

Taking After His Sissy

Bubby has watched McKenna do this since he was born. He loves to grab her favorite blanket, a book, and sit on the couch. The funny thing is, when I try to read to him; he usually throws the book across the room. I think he's going to be more stubborn than his Sissy. God help me!

Paul Bunyan

Bubby wears a size 6 shoe at age 1. Seriously. The average shoe size for his age is 4-4 1/2. The shoe salesman said that a 5 is considered large. I don't know what a 6 is considered. The scary thing is that your kids supposedly get bigger as you have more. I guess the new baby will be wearing a size 8 at age 1. The good news: Bubby and McKenna will be able to share shoes soon. I'm sure my husband will love his son in pink flip flops.

Franks and Beans

Well, she's a he! I'm batting 0-3 with the gender prediction of my babies. Due to a placenta leak, (Yuck!), I found out four weeks early that I'm having boy. They, are 99.9% sure. Also, they are keeping my due date of Aug. 2, but they think because of his size it will be around July 25th. I have no clue what we are naming him because I only had girl names picked out. Patrick still wants Wolfgang. My response, "Over my dead body." The baby is fine. I may have to go on bed rest at 24 weeks. My response, "With two kids, you're out of your mind."
I'm excited for Bubby because the two will be so close in age and can be pals. McKenna took it extremely well. She said, "Two brothers!" "Oh, okay, do I still get to be the boss?"

Anyway, I'll keep the blog up to date with baby health updates. The good news: after 16 weeks, I finally warrant OB visits.

Aunt Amy is ahead right now with the baby pool.
