Nammy, Easter Eggs, and Hannah

The Girl Loves Her Candy

Hannah Rules

Hello My Name is Bubby and I am Darling!

Hello. My Name is Sissy and I am also Darling!

COOL DUDES! Thanks for the shades Aunt Amy!

Nammy Jan came to visit over my Spring Break from school. We had a great time, but as always, it was too short. I know Nammy went home exhausted; the Knapps will do that to you. Anyway, some of the highlights were our Easter Egg Hunt and taking McKenna to see her first movie in the movie theater. (I'm sure you can guess the movie.) Sissy did great and was in awe of the whole thing. Her final verdict: it was totally awesome dude! Mommy's observation: My good girl loves movies, but not pop and popcorn! Thanks for coming Nammy!

The Newest Knapp Drama

Dear Mommy and Daddy, Thanks for the Bad Ears!

Here's a listing of the most recent Knapp Drama, I swear they need to give us a reality show.

1.) After trying every anitibiotic on the market, including "The Big Daddy" (a.k.a the shot), Bubby still has an ear infection. Since December he has had 5th's Disease, Strep Throat, a constant ear infection, and a febrile seizure. As a result, we saw an ENT Doc yesterday. I soooooo loved him.

2.) Bubby is getting tubes in his ears on April 21st. Hallelujah! However, the 4 minute surgery terrifies me.

3.) Sissy has also had an ear infection since January. I am waiting on the insurance referral to get her into the same ENT. She may also need tubes. This surgery also terrifies me.

4.) I have 5th's Disease. No big deal for me, way big deal for Kane. Fetuses exposed to 5th's disease can be born stillborn (rare), anemic, or with under active red cell function which can lead to heart defects. As a result, I get to see a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist on Monday. I am triple terrified. I tested positive on Tuesday, and they got me in within the week. I should know more after the appointment. The good news: A lot of babies who are exposed are born fine.

So that wraps it up. At least my kids are still darling.

My Button Part 2

Sissy had her pictures for her Dance recital today. She was so excited because she got to wear make-up and her diamond (faux of course) earrings.

The recital's in May at Dixon High School and it's sure to be an event. Her tap routine is darling. It's to the song, "Mr. Sun," and consists of the following:
1.) They right shuffle for about five minutes.

2.) They left shuffle for about five minutes.

3.) Just when you can hardly contain your excitement, they march in a circle.

4.) Then they come back to their line and do the finale.

5.) The finale is a big jump and a "Yeah!"

It should be fun and I can't wait to see how the pics turned out. M was kind of grumpy because the neck of her costume itched. I have to figure out how to line it. Me a seamstress? Hah!

Happy 15 Months, Baby Boy!

At Least I like to Sweep

HELP! My Brother's Out of Control!

Ten Signs That Your Son is a Handful:

10.) You walk into the doctor's office and a nurse ushers you immediately into a room even if others have been waiting for hours.
9.) You're son is getting his well check and breaks the toy that doctor gave him within the first fifteen seconds of receiving the toy.

8.) Your son has no shame in immediately peeing on the same doctor as soon as his privates are exposed.
7.) Your son has an infatuation with toilets especially if someone has just pooped in it.
6.) Your son has an infatuation with electrical outlets.
5.) Your son enjoys throwing his food, especially in restaurants.
4.) Your son enjoys throwing peas at your head as you vigorously try to scrape the banana off of the floor underneath his high chair.
3.) Your son laughs at the word "No!"
2.) A haircut empowers his evil side.
1.) His father is Patrick Vernon Knapp
Man, it's a good thing Bubby's adorable or he'd always be the doghouse. (Note to Namma Sharlene: We need the pancake turner immediately!)

Bubby's Haircut Part Two

Sissy's Verdict: I love It!

Well, At Last I can See My Food Better!

Telling Namma

Hoods Are Great

Daddy, I Don't Know About this Hairdo

After weeks of fighting Patrick, I finally gave in and let him take Bubby to the barber. I figured if the cut looked horrible, I'd just grow it out when Patrick deployed. I actually like it, but I miss playing with my baby's curls. Oh well, I guess he can't be pretty forever.
