To My Sweet Baby Boy
It seems like just yesterday, Daddy and I were barreling through a Level Two Snow Emergency so you could be born. You were so special from the minute you were born. You came out hollering your head off (or singing along to Rudolph the the Red-Nosed Reindeer which was playing on the hospital intercom.) Dr Neuhoff said, "He has huge feet!" "He's gonna be huge!" You haven't disappointed us yet with that! You still have huge feet!
You are such an amazing and wonderful boy! You delight in all things, especially those that get you in trouble. I love how you always have a smile for me and you wake up giggling and calling for "Mama."
I love how laid back you are and you like all people to be happy and have fun. I like how you have a horrible temper when you don't get your way. Your little face squishes up, you put your head back, and howl like a monkey.
I love how you adore your sister and like waking her up in the morning with your sweet kisses.
I love how you are all boy. You grunt, fart, eat, and scratch like a man. You have no shame. I hope that never changes.
I love how beautiful your are. You are the prettiest boy I know. Don't worry, your Daddy's pretty, too. He became a rough and tough Marine. I hope you don't follow in his footsteps, but I'm sure you'll want to.
I am so excited, proud, and lucky to be your Mommy. You are so fun and every day is a new adventure with you. I can't wait to see what the next year brings.
I love you forever and ever and forever after that!
xoxo,
Mommy

Enjoy every minute--they go by much too fast. He is very precious--I love how he smiles with his eyes!! Sorry we'll miss his birthday, but at least we saw him dip into that green icing. Give him hugs and kisses from Papa John, Aunt Caro and Amy.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUBBY!! Boy do I remember the morning you were born. Going down 75 in the Big Black truck to watch your Sissy while you, Mamma & Daddy were at the hospital. Thank heavens for Aunt Amy who covered until I could get to your house. You are all BOY & such a joy.I too love your smile, eyes, laugh & that little devilish "TAZ"streak you possess.XO
Time goes by so fast. Unbelievable that that sweet little boy is now one year old. Time goes by faster the older that you get so as old as I am, he will turn 2 in about two months!? I love that Bubby and McKenna are so different-McKenna the creative one and Bubby the analytical (inquisitive) one. He certainly is a joy to be around but so very tiring. On the go. . .go . . .go. . .Give him lots of hugs and kisses from Grammy Jan. Did he sing Happy Birthday to himself again? That was so funny-he has quite a good voice. I will see all of you soon.
Love and miss you lots. . .
Very sweet. Happy Birthday, Brady! I cannot believe you're one...
