McKenna has a new nickname, Little Mam. This is because she is 70% Princess and 30% Sassafras. Anyway, Little Mam has found a passion for reading chapter books. Well, I read them to her, but she loves them anyway. Her current favorite is the Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Park.
I highly recommend this series for children and adults. Granted, it's written at a second grade reading level, but I think the series is hilarious!

The first graders LOVED Junie B. :) She's getting so big!
My girls both loved the whole series. Their first grade teacher read them aloud to the class and even dressed up as her for Halloween. Junie B. is a total hoot!

Thats great!!! Its so important to get kids into having a passion for reading as early as possible. I always to read to my kids when they were little. Its good quality time too!
