An Adventure the Griswalds Would Envy

Disclaimer: I am horrible at taking pictures. This is due to pure laziness. Anyway, these pictures did not do the trip justice. I promise that Kane was there too, he was always behind the lens with me.

The last time I got my hair done, (judging by my roots I would say it was about four months ago)my stylist told me I needed to take the kids to Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC. So I booked a room at the Hampton Inn over Easter, Patrick took off work, and we were on our way.

We had an absolute amazing time! We went to the amusement park, Ripley's Aquarium, the Outlet Mall, Margaritaville, the Hard Rock Cafe, and swimming. As a bonus, we got to stay at the hotel one night for free due to rowdy neighbors. Ahhh, I remember those days.

The highlight of the whole weekend was watching my McKenna ride the Pirate Ride (it's like Cedar Point's Ocean Motion.) She sat in the very back and held her hands up just like Daddy! I had to remind myself she's only four.

I am so glad we got to spend Easter together, on vacation. This was the first family vacation that we have ever took!

What a great time to go to an amusement park--no crowds. I'm sure McK and Brady really enjoyed the rides. I'm glad to see McK touching the crab--she wouldn't do it when we were there. I would, however, like more people pictures and less creature pictures. I'm so glad you had a great time. Love--CoCo

Finally a vacation! I'm not sure what a vcation is with 3 kids but I know that mine was great with them! More pictures of the family; less of creatures. I can't believe how brave McKenna is. Try anything. This can't be the same little girl that cried on the train at Children's Wonderland when she was 2!? I still see that picture in my head with those great big eyes looking out at me. What was I thinking? I guess of things to come. Miss you all. . .
